Check-in is 3pm. Check-out is anytime before 10am depends on properties. Please contact us for early check-in and late check-out.

We usually offer guided check-ins but we provide self check-in upon request or when a guest arrives after 10pm.

Yes, all of our properties have a fast and safe connection. 

Yes, We have space for at least two vehicles per property. Sunshine Hakuba has space for six vehicles. Please do not park on neighboring properties. 

Depending on the accommodation, there is at least 4 nights minimum stay. Please contact us if you would like to stay shorter.

All of our properties are non-smoking. We provide ashtrays outside. You will be charged a total amount of 3 nights stay should you smoke in the properties.

Yes, there is a dry room or dry area in each property. 

We offer mid-stay cleaning service. Details will be communicated upon check-in. 

Baby cots 5000 yen per stay and we offer other stuff for free on requests.

Our accommodations are located in Happo Wadano, Ecoland, Misorano, and Tsugaike, so the closest resort is usually Hakuba Happo One Ski Resort. All of them have a ski resort shuttle within walking distance. Sunshine Hakuba Lodge located in Tsugaike  is a Ski-in Ski-out.

There are 3 supermarkets in the Happo area, and most are a five-minute drive away, except for Sunshine Hakuba.
As for convenience stores, there are two Lawson and two 7-Eleven locations in the area.

We offer supermarket shuttle service as well upon request.

Our accommodations are located in Happo, Wadano, Echoland, Misorano, Tsugaike, Goryu, and Norikura, so you can choose according to your preference.

If you’re looking for a place close to restaurants or bars after skiing, we recommend Echoland and Misorano. If you prefer a snow-covered forest view and want to stay close to the lift, Wadano is the perfect place.
For powder enthusiasts who love exploring deep snow, Tsugaike offers an incredible winter experience.
Goryu is a great choice for those who want easy access to three ski resorts—Goryu, 47, and Iimori—while also enjoying night skiing.
Norikura is ideal for those who prefer a walk-to-lift location, with convenient access to the ski resort’s pool and sauna, making it perfect for some extra relaxation after a day on the slopes. Click here and check our properties.

It is not necessary to rent a car. Hakuba’s Ski shuttle bus system is well equipped and we can help to book a taxi when need be. Also, we offer free pick up services within the Hakuba area. But if you would like to enjoy Hakuba without any restrictions on movement, we recommend a rental car. All rental companies in Hakuba provide winter tires and 4WD vehicles. We do recommend Kibeje car rentals as they deliver and pick up to and from our accommodations. Renting a car near Nagano Station is also a convenient option, especially if you’re arriving by shinkansen.

Bus from Haneda/ Narita airport : Nagano Snow Shuttle offers twice a day from the Airports to Hakuba directly. These buses are the next easiest way to come to Hakuba aside the private shuttle.

Shinkasen (Bullet Train) :  This is arguably the fasted and popular way to Hakuba. If you take the Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Nagano Station, you can then transfer to Alpico bus at the No. 26 bus stop located at Nagano Station.

• Haneda to Tokyo Station: you can take either the Tokyo Monorail or the Keikyu Line. Both train options will get you to Tokyo Station in approximately 30 minutes. At Hamamatsu-cho Station, you will transfer to the JR Yamanote Line.

• Narita to Tokyo Station: There are two main options for traveling from Narita Airport to Tokyo Station.

  A. Narita Express: The Narita Express is a direct train service that departs from Narita Airport Terminal 1 Station. Trains run approximately every 25 to 40 minutes. The Narita Express not only reaches Tokyo Station but can also take you to other major stations like Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, and Shibuya.

  B. Tokyo Shuttle: The Tokyo Shuttle is another option departing from Narita Airport about every 20 minutes. It provides transportation to Tokyo Station. The fee for the Tokyo Shuttle is 1,300 yen.

Another transportation option is the Azusa Express Train. This train operates once a day from Shinjuku at 08:00 and arrives at Hakuba Station at 11:41.

Yes, we offer a complimentary shuttle service within Hakuba for check-in and check-out, restaurant reservations, and supermarket visits.
Please make a reservation at least 2 hours in advance.

Please note that traffic conditions and weather (especially snow) may cause delays, particularly during ski resort closing hours.
For this reason, same-day or last-minute shuttle requests may not be available, and even pre-booked shuttles may experience delays.

When you arrive in Hakuba by Alpico Bus, Nagano Snow Shuttle, or train, please contact us after arriving at the designated stop — Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal or JR Hakuba Station.

※ We do not provide a ski resort shuttle. Please use the Hakuba Ski Shuttle.                                                                                                                              However, if you encounter any difficulties, please contact us — we will do our best to assist depending on the situation.

Yes. Please send the package under the name registered when making the accommodation reservation if you are sending the luggage in advance. Please note that if the sender’s name is different, the delivery may not be processed correctly.

Luggage to the airport must be sent at least 2 days prior to your flight departure date.
For destinations such as hotels in Tokyo, Osaka, or Kyoto, please also allow at least 2 days in advance.

As delivery times may vary depending on the destination, we recommend sending your luggage early based on your desired delivery date.

Please note that during the winter season, especially in times of heavy snowfall, delivery may take longer than usual—up to 3 to 4 days—so we kindly ask you to plan ahead.

The highly recommended ones are Hakuba Snow Sports, Hakuba Ski Concierge and Evergreen Ski School.

We highly recommend Rhythm and Central Snow Sports for high-quality, high-performance equipment. Both offer shuttle services and gear swap options.

For Sunshine’s guests we recommend Arai rental, which is located in front of Tsugaike gondola. If you pre-book the gear they will deliver the gear before check in so you can use that upon arrival

Activies for non-skiers include Snowshoe, Snow mobile. You can check with Lion adventure for other options.

We recommend the Snow monkey tour. 

If you don’t like touring, You can rent a car and travel by yourself. We recommend Jigokudani snow monkey park, Zenkoji, Matsumoto castle, Obuse and Naraijuku.
